TuraiArt - Profile
Welcome to TuraiArt's profile, an artist with BoundlessGallery.com.
I'm a romantic at heart but also have a love for tongue-in-cheek humor (I think I watched too much "Benny Hill" as a kid). It's not always easy to translate feelings into art, and often, I'm not fully satisfied with the outcome...but that's the challenge and fun of it all. Life has many faces and I feel compelled to react and connect with it - the beautiful, the morbid, the funny, the sad, the strange... I'm always trying to express SOMETHING artistically. Thank you for visiting and if you've purchased from me before, I'm eternally grateful and hope you'll enjoy the piece(s) for a long time to come!

Born in Chicago, IL. 1971, Sue has always been involved in the arts in some way, shape or form. She attributes her need to express creativity from her family and childhood atmosphere. “My father worked for a large printing facility. As a child, I recall him coming home with boxes full of leftover paper, deemed for destruction. He would always exclaim on the waste; ‘How can they just throw all this away?!’ Of course, once in my hands, the scissors, paints, pencils, glue and tape would immediately come out, and I’d be occupied for hours..."
...Music is another inspiration. Sue fell in love with and began playing the piano at the age of seven...“I enjoy the classical pieces the most -Bach, Mozart, Beethoven...The imagination is allowed to wander and the creative juices to flow. As with painting and drawing, one becomes a part of it and is influenced deeply by it.”
...“I remember selling my first piece….it was a mixed feeling of loss for the piece and awe that my artwork could trigger an impact within another soul.”
...Sue’s styles range from Abstract/Modern, Realism, Bizarre, and humorous cartooning- expressed in a variety of mediums such as Oils, Acrylics, Plaster, Plastics, etc… ”I tend to favoritize a medium until I start a major overhaul of experimentation. I follow my moods, work with the time I have available and usually have about three different pieces in the works at a time.” ...
